In honor of Red Ribbon Week, Cornwell Avenue fourth-graders created a “Minion” ways to make healthy choices.
School psychologist Elyssa Mayer spoke to Joseph Pappas’ fourth-grade class about respect and making health-conscious decisions. The class discussed what respect is and how to give it, as well as ways to make healthy choices in their everyday lives.
Following the discussion, Ms. Mayer had the students write their commitments to healthy lifestyles on Minions, which will be displayed around the school.
