West Hempstead Residents Approve Reduced Bond Referendum
On Tuesday, March 15, residents in the West Hempstead School District voted on a reduced capital project bond referendum.

Voters approved the bond: 1124 Yes votes to 985 No votes. The Board of Education and administration would like to thank all community residents who voted on the bond referendum.

“The approved bond will enable the district to move forward with the repairs and renovations needed to improve our schools,” said Superintendent of Schools John Hogan. “We are extremely grateful for the community’s continued support and thank everyone who voted.“
