Chestnut Street School kindergartners created their own water lilies inspired by artist Claude Monet.

During their Success in Technology, Enrichment, Library, Literacy, Artistry and Research (STELLAR) unit, students have been learning about artist Claude Monet. From their research, they discovered where he lived in France, facts about his life, and his famous paintings including the Water Lily Pond.

Following their research, kindergartners designed their own water lilies using oil crayons and paint with the help of STELLAR teachers Dara Perlow and Ailene Caveliere.
