In honor of Earth Day, the members of West Hempstead High School’s Environmental Club planted an array of flowers to celebrate the beauty of nature.

Out on the school grounds, the students arranged peonies, tulips and yellow anemone in gardens shaped in the letters of “W” and “H,” which are part of the healthy and sustainable environment that the school has cultivated.
