Barbara Hafner, president of the West Hempstead Education Association; Chris Mistretta, on behalf of the West Hempstead Association of Supervisors and Administrators; and Karen Brohm, Board of Education president, all addressed those in the room before handing matters off to Superintendent of School Daniel Rehman.

Following the opening remarks, attorney Christopher Mestecky, Esq. discussed district procedures and policies. WHEA and WHASA held respective meetings in the high school’s auditorium and library at the conclusion of presentations in the auditorium.

The final few hours of the days concluded with staff members attending faculty meetings in their respective buildings to discuss goals and expectations that will lead to success in the upcoming school year.
