Fall Festival Fun

Fall Festival Fun photo

The spirit of fall was in full effect on Oct. 26 as the Chestnut Street School in the West Hempstead Union Free School District hosted a day of activities. The school’s third annual fall festival sponsored by the school’s PTA, featured a variety of activities and brought many smiles.

As part of the fun, students had the opportunity to select their own pumpkins from a patch and take class photos with a backdrop of scarecrows. Members of the West Hempstead High School Key Club assisted with various stations of games, including wrapping Principal Faith Tripp as a mummy with toilet paper.

Chestnut Street extends a special thank you to the PTA and Key Club for helping to put together another successful fall festival.
