With Halloween just around the corner, Chestnut Street School in the West Hempstead Union Free School District had some fall fun on Oct. 25. The fourth annual PTA sponsored fall festival included a pumpkin patch and classic games with a spooky spin.

From the Witch’s Broom Sweep to the Spooky Bean Bag toss, the students were all smiles rooting for their teams and fellow classmates. Principal Faith Tripp joined in on the fun and the students were able to wrap her up like a mummy. Classes took group photos with a fun, fall background and volunteers from West Hempstead High School assisted with the activities.

Chestnut Street School sends thanks to the PTA and high school students who helped to make the fall festival a successful and fun event.
