Students at Cornwell Avenue School in West Hempstead participated in several activities to celebrate Thanksgiving on Nov. 22.
Teachers helped students design their own Thanksgiving parade balloons and craft colorful turkeys. Additionally, many of the students and teachers wore Thanksgiving-themed outfits. After students completed their crafts, they enjoyed cupcakes for dessert.
