Students at George Washington School in West Hempstead recently celebrated their joy for literature during a special collaboration with the West Hempstead Public Library.
Thanks to the support of the West Hempstead Public Library, more than 150 students received brand new library cards. Additionally, the Rams mascot visited George Washington to congratulate all of the library card recipients.
During the celebration, students proudly shared displayed their new cards to highlight the importance of library access and literacy.
