Students at George Washington School in West Hempstead are making a meaningful impact school community by spreading kindness and gratitude.
As part of State Assemblyman Ed Ra’s recognition of Law Enforcement Appreciation Day, students created heartfelt thank-you cards to recognize the dedication and service of first responders and court officers who support and protect the community. The initiative provided students with an opportunity to reflect on the importance of appreciation, civic responsibility, and community connection.
The district would like to thank State Assemblyman Ed Ra for helping to foster a spirit of gratitude and service among George Washington’s students.
