Hackathon teams from George Washington School and West Hempstead Middle School competed together in a practice hackathon at the middle school on March 1.
A hackathon is a timed event in which teams compete against one another in coding challenges. Students spent time sharpening their coding skills while enjoying some friendly competition among their peers. Both teams will take part in the middle school’s annual hackathon competition on March 11.
