The West Hempstead School District’s youngest learners at Chestnut Street School took part in numerous activities to celebrate 100 days of school on Feb. 15.
Students and teachers dressed up as elders and wore decorative crowns to mark the milestone. Students also created colorful posters, they stacked 100 plastic cups, and they wrote about how they became 100 days smarter.
