Students are playing Capture 5 from Investigations to practice adding and subtracting groups of 10s and 1s to a number. This activity builds on students' mental math skills and they're ability to successfully decompose numbers to help them add and subtract. @whufsdrams #RamPride

Fifth grade scientists in Mrs. Kachejian’s class are beginning a new unit on food science. We demonstrated prior knowledge by using vocabulary words, asking questions about the new unit, and sketching pictures to go along with our ideas. @whufsdrams #RamPride
