Mrs. Holtkamp & Ms. Koppings ELA class took a trip down the hall to visit Ms. Reetz's class biography posters. After learning more about the biography subjects, they left positive comments on their peer's work. We now have great ideas for our own posters. @whufsdrams #RamCulture

In Ms. Kopping's fifth-grade science class, we explored the phenomena of evaporation and how that plays a major role in the formation of raindrops. We cannot wait to continue our work as water resource engineers! @whufsdrams @Amplify #RamCulture

In STELLAR Ms. Connor's 4th graders worked together to create an animated Sprite of sedimentary rock formations. Positive feedback and supporting comments were heard throughout the library. @whufsdrams @Amplify @CanUCode #RamCulture

In Mrs. Kachejian’s ELA classes, we study the biographies of strong women throughout history. @whufsdrams #RamCulture

Were the Articles of Confederation strong enough to govern the young United States? The Krazy Koppings’ are trying to solve problems that are occurring in their 13 states, but they are realizing that not much can get done! What solution did they come up with? The Constitution! @whufsdrams #RamCulture

Congratulations to George Washington's Superintendent's Student Advisory Council. They along with the district's other council members presented at the Board of Education last night. @whufsdrams #RamCulture

Ms. Kopping’s 5th grade science classes are using their knowledge as “water resource engineers” to create models that explain what is going on at the nanoscale when condensation is occurring. Using digital models helps us to illustrate our learning and to be able to share with others.

The students in Mrs. Kachejian’s science class
communicated the results of our investigation with clarity and precision! @whufsdrams #RamCulture

Mr. Cangemi visited George Washington today and brought along the zSpace computers. Our fourth graders got to experience a 3D view of Colonial America while using the zSpace. They are looking forward to using this exciting technology again! @whufsdD @whufsdrams #RamCulture

Visiting the word wall in Mrs. Kachejian’s science class to prepare to write a scientific explanation. @whufsdrams #RamCulture

Students in Ms. Fellows' 4th grade are finishing their science unit on vision and light by building vision models. Students are building models of an eye with either high-sensitivity or low-sensitivity light receptors to demonstrate their understanding of how different animals see better during the day or during the night. @whufsdrams #RamCulture

March Homeroom Challenges at George Washington
