They escaped! These writers had to work together to save their “right to argue.” Today served as an introduction to our next unit of study, argumentative writing. There were a lot of great discussions to identify evidence to support claims and to build powerful arguments.


Ms. Kopping’s 5th-grade students gained firsthand experience in iterating, an important aspect of engineering. To iterate means to try something again using what you learned. These engineers made adjustments to their freshwater systems to ensure that they accurately fit the criteria. We cannot wait to see how much water we can collect now!

March is Women’s History Month. To honor important women and their influence in the world, Ms. Kopping's class choose one woman to research and learn more about. Then they designed a stamp in their honor and explained why they should be celebrated for their accomplishments in history. @whufsdrams #RamCulture



Our Student Council students along with Mrs. Ragusa spent the afternoon organizing all of the food our school donated. They were able to put together 15 large boxes for the Key Club pantry! @whufsdrams #RamCulture




Ms. Kopping's 5th-grade water resource engineers have been hard at work! They worked collaboratively to plan and create freshwater systems. They learned about the design cycle that engineers use to solve problems and are testing their systems to see how effective they are at collecting freshwater from saltwater. @whufsdrams #RamCulture
