Moot Court is one of the newest clubs at the West Hempstead Secondary School in which students compete in moot appellate arguments through mock trials.
The mock trials aim to test their understanding of cutting-edge legal questions. This competition provides students with a unique opportunity to strengthen their reasoning skills and increase understanding of the Constitution of the United States and the judicial system.
Led by their adviser, Ms. Wilkens, Moot Court students worked tirelessly at their first Mock Trial and advanced to the next round for the first time in the school’s history. The West Hempstead School District congratulates its students on a job well done.
