On April 18, the West Hempstead School District’s Board of Education honored several students for their academic and athletic success in recent months.
The following students were recognized during the board of education’s monthly meeting:
- Mouhammad Seck, New York State Mathematics League participant.
- Gloria Guerrier, Victoria Guerrier and Jurrel Hall, 2023 Nike Indoor Nationals participants.
- Alexa Rivera, Anasha Abdur-Rahman, Angelina Padilla, Angelo Hughes, Belinda Rodriguez, Dominick Ferguson, Matthew Mariani, Rhiannon Heikkila, Taj Hinds, Vera Hametz, Victoria Armogan and Vivian Beriguette, Art Supervisors Association All-County Art Exhibit participants.
The district commends all of the honorees for representing Ram Culture, both in and outside the classroom.
