The West Hempstead School District would like to commend West Hempstead Secondary School’s Virtual Enterprise Junior Ventures firm, “True Bliss,” which achieved Gold for their overall program performance during the 2024-2025 school year.
This summer, students in Ms. Gulisano's eighth grade Virtual Enterprise Junior Ventures firm achieved Gold status in the Circles of Excellence for the 2024-2025 school year. This is the first year Circles of Excellence has been available as a measure of excellence to JV firms. The Circles of Excellence is a recognition program designed to guide Virtual Enterprise firms through the key business activities and milestones of a typical school year. By completing the tasks outlined in each period, firms can earn points, demonstrating their progress and achievement in the VE program. This framework helps students develop essential career skills and business knowledge in a hands-on environment.
Through hard work, perseverance, and dedication to excellence, West Hempstead’s team met and exceeded all criteria, showcasing the gold standard in entrepreneurship. As these students now navigate ninth grade, they are proud to leave this legacy behind for other JV firms to achieve in the future and look forward to mentoring the incoming team.
