On Oct. 24, West Hempstead Secondary School senior Benjamin Mora had the privilege of meeting Grammy-winning flutist Brandon Patrick George.
Mora received a special invitation to Adelphi University’s Performing Arts Center where he got to observe Mr. George at work while receiving valuable tips. Currently the flutist of Imani Winds, Mr. George is also a soloist and chamber musician, and has been a guest artist with various orchestras such as the Atlanta, Baltimore, and Albany symphonies, American Composers Orchestra, and the Orchestra of St. Luke’s, among others.
