Hello, The New York State Public High School Association and Section VIII athletics are looking to start a flag football league for girls in the spring season. The game would be 7 vs 7 with two twenty four minute halves. All state rules would be followed and the students would have to meet the state requirement for practices. The state requirement would be six practices and tentatively it would be a 6-8 game schedule with the season most likely starting at the end of April. If any students are interested or would like more information on the program please stop by the athletic office.
