Congratulations to The Boys Varsity soccer team. The team improved it’s league record to 2-1 with a 3-2 victory over Oyster Bay on Tuesday afternoon.
Derek Chinchilla had 2 goals and an assist, Jeremy Cruz had a goal, Carlos Mejia and Kamau Leslie each had an assist and Bryan Burgess made 8 saves. The team will travel to Wheatley High School on Saturday, September 18th, game time is 12:00pm.
Congratulations to the Girls Varsity Volleyball. Today the team defeated Cold Spring Harbor 3 sets to 1. Sanaia Estime lead the team with 9 kills and added 5 Aces. Chance Mingo contributed with 4 kills, a block, and 6 Aces. Amanda Healy led the team with 20 assists.
The team will play their next home match on Friday, September 17th at 5:00pm against Valley Stream Central.
Students worked collaboratively to solve the sum of arithmetic sequences in Ms. Rowland’s class.
Staff and students at the HS honored those that lost their lives during 9/11 and our first responders with a moment of silence and lessons throughout the day.
