Through their study of the past our students understand where they’ve come from and learn lessons to help them deal with the present and future. Students do a critical study of various societies to better understand human behavior, culture, and the workings of society.

Throughout their Social Studies classes, students will analyze historic events through various philosophical perspectives which will help them to think, clearly, ethically, and logically.

Students will study Government/Politics, in middle school and in high school, which will allow them to learn about political processes and their impact. This will provide students with an understanding of how social and political change occurs through civic engagement.
