On Dec. 18, the West Hempstead School District continued a festive tradition of spreading some holiday cheer to local families.

In partnership with NYU Langone Hospital – Long Island, district administrators collected a variety of holiday gifts for local families as part of the district’s annual holiday giving program. Each department at NYU Langone “adopts” a West Hempstead school family, generously purchasing gifts to support students and families during the holiday season. This year’s collection filled up the secondary school’s videoconference room.

The district would like to thank NYU Langone Hospital – Long Island for helping us to spread joy during the holidays.
