Students at the Chestnut Street School celebrated Read Across America Day on March 2. Sponsored by the National Education Association, Read Across America Day is the nation’s largest celebration of reading. Throughout the day, special guests including Superintendent Dan Rehman and Board of Education Vice President Andrea Shinsato visited the kindergarten classes to read books to both in-person and remote students.
