TOPSoccer Program
Volunteer Information
What is TOPS? The Outreach Program for Soccer (TOPSoccer) is a program for kids with disabilities who would like to learn to play soccer and have fun. Players will be kids with special needs, ages 4 to 25.
How can I help? We are looking for “coach buddies” ages 11 and up who are willing to team up with the TOPS players, to help teach some soccer skills and have fun. We are hoping that you can commit to at least 3 sessions. You do not need to have prior soccer experience.
When? The program is held on Saturdays from 11:00 a.m. to 12 p.m. in the spring and fall. The program runs 8 weeks each season. The fall season starts on Saturday, September 16, 2023 and runs through November 11, 2023.
Where? George Washington Elementary School, New York Avenue, West Hempstead
Community Service credit? We are happy to provide paperwork to document community service hours. Please pick up the paperwork at the end of each session.
