Last week, @WHGWashington students participated in the American Heart Association’s “Kids Heart Challenge” Jump Rope for Heart program! The event was held during recess and gave the students the opportunity to participate in jump rope activities while learning about how their hearts work and physical activities to improve their health. Students raised money both online and in-person. #WHe

Each year, Nassau County Bar Association lawyers volunteer to encourage and motivate high school students to consider a career in the legal profession by giving them support and advice to argue a real case in a real courtroom during Mock Trial. The annual NYS HS Mock Trial Tournament, the nation’s largest, provides students with hands-on opportunities to further their understanding of the law, court procedures & the legal system, while honing their speaking, listening, reading, and reasoning skills. @wh_secondary #WHe
