The district would like to thank all residents who participated in the budget revote. The budget passed by a vote of 1,239 yes votes to 1,065 no votes. We appreciate the community’s support so that we can continue to provide expanded opportunities for the students of West Hempstead. Tomorrow is the district’s budget revote! Please remember to vote between 7 a.m.-9 p.m. at West Hempstead Middle School. As a reminder, the revised budget has been REDUCED from the initial plan presented to voters in May. All information related to the proposal can be found on the district’s website.
