We are excited to announce that, beginning today Tuesday, July 6th, the West Hempstead School District will be offering meals to the community this summer. This summer the school district has partnered with the Lawrence School District to provide the meals, which will be available at no cost to all children 18 and under who live in West Hempstead. All meals provided will be kosher.
Meals will be distributed in bulk, once a week, on Tuesdays from 4-7pm at Chestnut Street School, which is located at 252 Chestnut Street in West Hempstead. You must register each week in order to pick up meals.
