We are excited to announce that, beginning on Tuesday, July 6th, the West Hempstead School District will be offering meals to the community this summer. This summer the school district has partnered with the Lawrence School District to provide the meals, which will be available at no cost to all children 18 and under who live in West Hempstead. All meals provided will be kosher.
Meals will be distributed in bulk, once a week, on Tuesdays from 4-7pm at Chestnut Street School, which is located at 252 Chestnut Street in West Hempstead. You must register each week in order to pick up meals.

MusicBreeds is able to offer our Summer Program for free to 20 lucky middle school students . Our brand-new summer program titled: Treble University. Our program will focus on songwriting, music technology and performance and will be free, for 20 lucky middle school students!
Our program runs from July 19th - August 13th, taking place at our state-of-the-art music and recording facility at 40 Carmans Road in Massapequa. Students can sign up for a half-day morning session from 8:00-12:00pm or an afternoon session from 12:30-4:30pm, Monday through Friday. It would be an honor to welcome your West Hempstead scholars to our summer music program.
